FAQ
Best in Mobility offers location-based vehicle sharing. This means that the vehicles are rented from a specific location and also returned there. It's not possible to return the vehicle to another location.
You can find out exactly where the vehicles are parked on the page for the respective location.
At each Best in Mobility location, How-To Guides are posted on the walls beside the vehicles and describe how to start, pause and end your journey. In principle, all our vehicles can be opened or started, as well as ended or locked, via the app. A stopover also works for most vehicles via the Best in Mobility app.
How you start the charging process depends on the charging station in question. In principle, the following procedure applies:
- Remove the charging cable from the vehicle and plug it into the charging socket on the vehicle and into the charging station.
- Remove the charging card from the glove compartment and hold it against the sensor of the charging station to start the charging process. Usually, you can recognise that the charging process has started by a change in the charging station display (see below).
- Check whether the charging process has started: as long as the charging process is ongoing, it should not be possible to disconnect the cable from the charging station.
Here is the most important information for common charging points at our locations:
Wien Energie public charging points (city category):
- Green light: charging point available, ready to plug in & charge
- Blue light: charging process started successfully
- Blue-green flashing light: charging process completed
- Red-green flashing light: fault at the charging point
