Rijeka, Croatia - With a population of just over 100,000, the harbour city of Rijeka is the third largest city in the country and offers visitors a wealth of attractions, from cultural sights to nature parks and nearby islands.

Construction work on the inner-city Zabica project in Rijeka has been underway for several months. The former railway station site in the middle of the city centre is being transformed into a modern ‘city hub’. Not only will 900 car parking spaces be created, but also a modern bus terminal and spacious areas for retail and offices. Great emphasis is being placed on attractive and sustainable architecture, for which the internationally recognised architecture firm 3LHD has been commissioned.

With the comprehensive redesign of the centrally located Zabica Square, Best in Parking is making a significant contribution to the modernisation and creation of a car-free urban environment in Rijeka, which will also enable the redesign of the Riva area - adjacent to the Molo Longo.
